This frequency can be in first days in which the beginning of the new arrival of the breast milk hourly or whenever the baby wants it. After each breast feeding, gas should be removed by placing baby on the shoulder or lap and tap on the back of him/her. If the baby does not release gas from the mouth after breast feeding, the side-down position should be preferred.
If the baby sucks for a long time, it is better to remove gas 2 times, at the middle and end of the breast feeding. Most babies can take out some of their sucking as sour milk, this is normal.
